There's also a flicker of something like guilt, though Grant and Dimitri - who already know it's there - will no doubt pick up on that a lot easier than Felix can. Guilt for what? It's hard to say. For not being able to help Felix, over the (perceived) accusations about Sylvain, who knows.
He starts to try and get up, again, thinking maybe Dimitri will let him this time.
